Common ground wheated bourbon
Our inaugural whiskey, Common Ground Wheated Bourbon, balances ambition and compromise to create a delicious spirit that is perfect for sharing with friends and family. In this bottle is a blend of our own in-house distilled wheated bourbon and a wheated bourbon distilled in Indiana. We crafted this whiskey to bring people together across political, social, and economic divides to a tasty common ground.
DOUBLE BLAZE
VODKA
The Buckeye Trail runs through the woods near our distillery in Southeastern Ohio. Turns on the trail are indicated by a double blue blaze painted on to a tree or a rock to keep hikers from losing their path. Vodka is a staple of any party and the critical element to many favorite mixed drinks. Our Vodka is crafted in-house and distilled with an all grain mash. Double Blaze Vodka will keep you on the right path through all of life’s twist and turns and will help you enjoy the delicious journey along the way.
The Lubricator
Our distillery is named in honor of Motherwell Iron and Steel, a company that turned the quaint town of Logan, Ohio, into a bustling city of commerce in the late 1800s. Robert Motherwell received a patent on December 8th, 1885, for the “Lubricator,” an invention that made mechanical items more efficient and last longer. We could not think of a better name for our easy-drinking spirit distilled in-house from cane sugar and peaches. The Lubricator is a special blend of comfort and warmth that makes everything go smoothly. Try this spirit in your favorite cocktails instead of vodka or rum and enjoy!
Rock House
Double Rye WHISKEY
Our Rock House Double Rye is a delicate blend of a rye whiskey distilled in Indiana and our own in-house distilled rye whiskey. We created this whiskey to be everything a rye should be, spicy, smooth, and delicious. This delightful whiskey is named in honor of the “Rock House,” a well known rock formation and cave near our distillery. The Rock House has stood the test of time and has been the origin of many great stories, just as we know this unique Rye Whiskey will.
Devil’s bathtub
Gin
Our gin is the perfect combination of a clean, neutral spirit produced from grain and a carefully selected blend of juniper and botanicals. We have named it in honor of a rock formation near our distillery that was carved by local waters in Blackhand Sandstone: Devil’s Bathtub. While the term “bathtub gin” can bring to mind the harsh, illicit alcohol of early Prohibition, our gin has far more class than those bootlegged spirits. Whether you are relaxing on a tailgate or mingling at a high-society cocktail party, Devil’s Bathtub Gin makes every occasion a little more memorable.
Canal boat rum
Our distillery’s name takes us back to a time in the late 1800s when commerce depended on local rivers and canals. Canal boat captains lived lives of adventure that rivaled those who sailed the Seven Seas. Our rum is modeled after the legendary rums of Barbados and Jamaica that were enjoyed by captains and crew alike. Canal Boat Rum blends tropical flair with mainland sophistication to create a rum that can be enjoyed neat or to enhance your favorite rum cocktail.
